It is remarkable to note that the Symposium has been convened at the Invitation issued by the Association of People with Disabilities in Iraq, being attended by Mr. Sajjad Razzaq Al-Hilali, Head of People with Disabilities & Special Needs Unit at Al-MustaqbalUniversity, in addition to an elite group of Officials, Decision-Makers, Members of Community Police, all along with Members representing the Association of People with Disabilities in Iraq.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University has emphasized the importance of raising awareness regarding Danger of Mines, in addition to the vital necessity to working towards achieving a Vision of 'Mine-Free Iraq', and in line with the efforts exerted to empower survivors and integrating them effectively into Society.
